Jordan Daily – The Independent Election Commission (IEC) of Jordan has announced Tuesday, September 10, 2024, as the polling day for the parliamentary elections, according to its Chairman, Musa Al-Maaytah.
The announcement coincided with a royal visit by King Abdullah II, who met with the Chairman and members of the IEC’s Board of Commissioners. The King issued high-level directives emphasizing the importance of ensuring the success of the electoral process through the application of the law with utmost integrity and transparency.
Al-Maaytah added that the Board will issue a comprehensive timetable outlining the various stages of the electoral process at the beginning of the following week.
