Jordan finalizes medical tourism strategy and offers incentives for patients

Jordan Daily – Jordan has finalized its national strategy for medical tourism 2023-2027 and prepared incentive medical packages for patients seeking treatment abroad, the health ministry said on Saturday.
The ministry is also working on issuing new rules and regulations for the medical tourism sector, which aims to boost Jordan’s reputation as a regional hub for health and wellness services, it said in a statement.
The statement came after a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Medical Tourism, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Primary Health Care and Epidemics, Dr. Raed Al-Shboul.
The committee discussed various issues related to the sector and its achievements, as well as ways to attract more visitors to the Kingdom for medical and recovery purposes, the statement said.
