Jordan Unveils Centralized Monitoring Rooms to Strengthen Oversight of Care Centers

Jordan Daily – Minister of Social Development, Wafa Bani Mustafa, announced on Monday that two central monitoring rooms for care centers will be inaugurated in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy.

She explained that the first phase of activating the monitoring rooms will include government care centers, with plans to include private entities in the future.

She noted that there are currently 23 government centers and shelters, equipped with over 1430 cameras, which will be connected to the ministry’s center.

There will be a specialized staff, with the surveillance rooms will be staffed with females in the women’s monitoring room and males in the men’s monitoring room, operating 24 hours a day.
