Jordan Daily – A Jordanian field hospital in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Yunis treated 190 cases and performed 32 surgeries in the past 48 hours, its commander said on Friday, as Israeli air strikes continued to pound the strip.
Colonel Mohammad Nafeh Al-Dajaa, the commander of the Jordanian Private Field Hospital/2, said some of the patients were transferred from the nearby Nasser Medical Complex, which was damaged by the Israeli bombardment.
The field hospital, which was sent by King Abdullah II to provide medical assistance to the residents of Gaza, has staff from various specialties and is equipped with all the necessary supplies, Al-Dajaa said.
