Jordan Daily - India's ambassador to Jordan, Manish Chauhan, visited the corporate offices of Ad-Dulayl Industrial Park & Real Estate Co. PLC (IDMC) in Amman on Thursday to discuss investment opportunities and ways to strengthen economic ties between Jordan and India, the company said.
Chauhan was accompanied by Asad Zuberi, second secretary for commerce at the Embassy of India in Jordan, and Ruba Alfaouri, a marketing officer at the embassy.
The delegation was received by Mousa Wakileh, chairman of IDMC, and Rami Mansi, the company's marketing and business development manager.
Wakileh briefed the delegation on IDMC, its role in industrial development and its experience in supporting investors in Jordan. Discussions also covered the priorities and challenges facing investors in the Ad-Dulayl Development Zone and ways to further improve the investment environment.
Mansi presented investment incentives available in Jordan and outlined industrial investment opportunities at the Ad-Dulayl Development Zone, with a particular focus on the planned Phase 3 expansion.
Chauhan expressed interest in supporting the further development of investment and economic relations between Jordan and India and in helping introduce Indian companies and investors to opportunities at the development zone, according to IDMC.
The visit highlighted efforts to strengthen Jordan-India business ties, expand international partnerships and attract new industrial investment to the Ad-Dulayl Development Zone.
