Jordan Daily – Jordanians across the country are celebrating Flag Day on Wednesday with coordinated events honoring the national flag’s symbolism and history.
The Ministry of Culture announced a nationwide plan involving public and private institutions to mark the occasion with patriotic displays and community engagement.
Minister of Culture Mustafa Rawashdeh emphasized the flag as a unifying symbol that reflects the sacrifices of past generations.
The main event, scheduled for noon, includes the simultaneous raising of the flag across all governorates. Activities under the slogans “Our Flag is High” and “Jordanian Flag Day” include distributing flags to citizens, decorating public spaces, and lighting landmarks such as the Roman Amphitheater in Amman.
The ministry called on citizens, civil society groups, and youth organizations to actively participate in the national campaign.
