King congratulates Cyprus president-elect

Jordan Daily -His Majesty King Abdullah, in a phone call on Tuesday, congratulated Cypriot President-elect Nikos Christodoulides on winning the presidential elections.

In the phone call, King Abdullah stressed Jordan’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with Cyprus in various areas, in service of mutual interests, and with the aim of bolstering security and stability in the region and the world.

His Majesty underscored the importance of expanding the trilateral cooperation between Jordan, Cyprus, and Greece, for the benefit of the three countries and the development of the region.

The King wished President-elect Christodoulides success, and the Cypriot people further progress and prosperity.
