Launch of Invest.jo: Jordan’s interactive investment platform

Jordan Daily – Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship jointly launched the Invest.jo platform. This platform is designed to serve as an interactive promotional tool for investors , providing information in both Arabic and English and facilitating effective communication with investors worldwide. The primary objective is to offer investors a comprehensive understanding of the business environment in the Kingdom.

Kholoud Al-Saqqaf,minister of investment , emphasized that the platform will provide investors with essential information needed throughout their investment journey in Jordan. This includes details about the legislative framework for investment, the necessary steps for electronic project registration and licensing, as well as the range of exemptions and privileges available to economic activities, both within and outside development and free zones.

The platform highlights the significant advantages and investment opportunities within the Aqaba Special Economic Zone and showcases success stories from various economic sectors.

Moreover, the platform enables investors to explore 21 diverse investment opportunities, estimated to have a total investment of around one billion Jordanian dinars. These opportunities are strategically spread across different sectors and regions within Jordan, focusing on sectors that provide high added value, according to Al-Saqqaf.

Examples of such sectors include communications and information technology, life sciences, healthcare, tourism, mining, food industries, sewing and clothing, and the film industry. Additionally, the platform features partnership projects between the public and private sectors.

Overall, the Invest.jo platform aims to provide clear and concise information to investors, streamlining their exploration of investment prospects and enabling them to engage effectively with the business environment in Jordan.
