Jordan Daily – Chairman of the Libyan Democratic Institute (LDI) Moin Kikhia held a series of high-level meetings with UK government representatives during a recent visit to London, including discussions with officials from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and Members of Parliament at Westminster.
Kikhia’s visit comes as the UK transitions under a new Labour government, with the chairman seeking to raise awareness about Libya’s current geopolitical significance and the potential international impact of developments in the country.
Kikhia expressed satisfaction with the level of interest shown by UK officials. “This is something to build on,” he said.
