Jordan Daily – Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates for Diplomatic Affairs Lina Hadid on Monday received a copy of the credentials of the new United States ambassador to Jordan Yael Lempert.
During her meeting with Lempert, Hadid wished the new envoy success on her mission to strengthen bilateral relations.
Yael Lempert previously served as Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs between August 2021 and May 2022. She also served as Deputy Chief of Mission for the U.S. Embassy in London and U.S. Chargé d’Affaires to the United Kingdom.
