Jordan Daily – The Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority denied rumors circulating on social media regarding missing tourists in the ancient city of Petra.
Engineer Yazan Mahadin, Commissioner of Archaeological Reserve Affairs and Tourism, said there is no truth to the claims, confirming that all visitors have safely exited the site.
Mahadin urged the public to verify information before sharing unverified reports, emphasizing that the authority’s teams are working continuously to ensure visitor safety and smooth movement within the archaeological site.
