Search underway for missing Jordanians in Mexico, says Ministry spokesperson

Jordan Daily – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates is following the case of two Jordanian citizens who recently went missing in Mexico, according to a statement from the Ministry spokesperson, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Qudah.

Qudah said that the Operations and Consular Affairs Directorate, working in tandem with the Jordanian Embassy in Mexico, has been coordinating with Mexican authorities to locate the missing citizens. Relatives of the two men informed the ministry that the pair had initially traveled to the United States in search of job opportunities but lost contact while in Mexico, en route to their destination.

The ministry, Qudah added, remains in close communication with the families and is committed to working with all concerned parties to ensure the citizens’ safe return to Jordan at the earliest possible opportunity.
