Tourism quick to recover despite regional challenges, official says

Jordan Daily – Fadi Al-Balawi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, said the tourism sector is showing clear signs of recovery, with increased air traffic being a key indicator.

He noted that the return of low-cost airlines in the coming months will boost tourism, adding that the government is committed to reviving the industry.

Despite being highly affected by regional events, tourism is the quickest sector to bounce back, Al-Balawi noted.
