Jordan Daily – President of the University of Petra Prof. Rami Abdel Rahem welcomed a delegation from Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU) to discuss activating a previously signed cooperation agreement and strengthening academic ties, particularly in dentistry.
The PPU delegation, led by President Prof. Mustafa Abu Safa, included VP for Planning Eng. Ayman Sultan and media representative Jweid Al-Tamimi. Petra officials attending included VP Dr. Mayas Al-Rimawi and Deans Prof. Faisal Abu Rubb and Prof. Firas Al-Salihat.
Prof. Abdel Rahem stressed the importance of academic collaboration between Jordan and Palestine, while Prof. Abu Safa praised the warm welcome and emphasized PPU’s commitment to academic and research exchange.
The two sides agreed to form joint committees to implement the agreement and enhance cooperation in education and research.
