Jordan Daily – Zarqa University, in partnership with the European Union, hosted on March 21,a Ramadan iftar for over 200 students from various Jordanian universities.
In a statement released by Zarqa University , the event, part of the EDU-SYRIA scholarship program, was graced by EU Ambassador to Jordan, Pierre Christophe Chatzisavvas, and other dignitaries.
The iftar aimed to foster a sense of community among Syrian students studying in Jordan under the EU-funded scholarships, reinforcing the spirit of the holy month. Attendees included prominent figures from the educational and investment sectors, who emphasized the importance of cooperation in enhancing the educational experience.
Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaera, Chairman of Zarqa Company for Education and Investment, presented tokens of appreciation to the guests. The students expressed gratitude for the support provided by Zarqa University and the EU, which has been instrumental in their academic journey.
