Aqaba Authority denies joint tourist resort with Israel

Jordan Daily – Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority denied any discussions related to the alleged planning of a joint tourist resort involving Jordan and Israel.
According to the authority , the meeting between the deputy head of the Aqaba Authority and an Israeli official primarily focused on matters related to Jordanian labor in Eilat , shared concerns in accordance with the peace agreement , and the entry of Israelis and 48 Arabs (Israel’s Arab) into Jordan via the Wadi Araba crossing.
Earlier, Israeli media had reported on a purported plan to develop a triangle encompassing Eilat, Aqaba, and Taba into a global tourist resort.
