Jordan Daily - Transport Minister Nidal Al-Qatamin discussed ways to strengthen transport cooperation with Georgian Ambassador to Jordan Archil Dzuliashvili on Tuesday, with talks focusing on air and rail connectivity between the two countries.

Al-Qatamin said Jordan is keen to expand cooperation in the transport sector to support economic, tourism and trade exchanges, highlighting the kingdom’s role as a regional hub for logistics and multimodal transport.

The two sides also discussed the possibility of increasing the number of flights between Jordan and Georgia through Royal Jordanian to boost travel, tourism and commercial ties.

Dzuliashvili said Georgia is interested in benefiting from regional connectivity projects being developed by Jordan, particularly rail links and transport corridors extending from the Gulf through Jordan, Syria and Turkey to Georgia, aimed at enhancing logistics integration and regional trade flows.

The Georgian ambassador praised relations between the two countries and expressed his country’s interest in expanding cooperation with Jordan in transport, logistics and aviation, citing Jordan’s strategic position as an important regional hub.
