Jordan Daily - Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) held a dialogue session on Monday with beneficiaries of its technical and financial support programmes in Amman, seeking feedback on their experiences and challenges and ways to improve its services.
JEDCO Executive Director Ghaleb Hijazi said beneficiaries were key partners in the institution’s development efforts, adding that their feedback would help improve programme quality and economic impact.
The session included a presentation on JEDCO’s vision, mission and objectives and its alignment with Jordan’s Economic Modernisation Vision, as well as its activities and achievements between 2022 and 2026.
JEDCO said it had provided technical and financial support during that period to 1,020 projects across Jordan in the industrial, agricultural, handicrafts and services sectors, contributing to the creation of 3,688 jobs.
Participants shared their experiences and success stories, discussed challenges facing their businesses and proposed measures to improve support programmes and services and strengthen the growth and sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises.
JEDCO also conducted an electronic survey to measure beneficiary satisfaction and gather further feedback and recommendations.
JEDCO noted the findings and recommendations from the session would inform the review and development of its programmes and services, with the aim of improving service quality, beneficiary satisfaction and support for economic growth and job creation.
