Jordan Daily – Minister of Transport, Maher Abu Al-Samen, said that the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) has not effectively addressed the transportation issue in Amman.
Highlighting the significant efforts made by the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) over a span of more than 15 years, the minister explained that the bus rapid is being executed in a phased manner, with a focus on completing the primary routes.
Continuing his remarks, the Minister shared his perspective, stating, “In my view, this represents a valuable learning experience for the Municipality of Amman. It’s important to remember that the operation involves facilitating the movement of rapid buses freely in the heart of the capital.”
