Jordan Daily – Classic Fashion, in partnership with the Environmental Bellis Association, carried out on Tuesday a forest cleanup campaign in Ajloun to mark Earth Day.
Held under the slogan “A Touch Changes Everything,” the initiative brought together volunteers to clean non-hazardous solid waste- plastic, paper, and metal-across a 4-dunum area within a 600-dunum forest and tourist site.
“As part of Earth Day celebrations, Classic Fashion organized a forest cleanup campaign in Ajloun,” said Raya Abu Dalbouh of Classic Fashion. “The campaign aimed to preserve the beauty of nature and emphasizes that simple efforts can make a big difference in protecting our planet.”
Volunteers also helped identify wild plants, and contributed to mapping out eco-tourism routes in the area.
“This event reflects Classic Fashion’s commitment to environmental responsibility and building a more sustainable future,” Abu Dalbouh added.
Jameel Qurashi, President of the Environmental Bellis Association, said the initiative included environmental awareness programs aimed at strengthening public engagement with local ecological preservation.
The event highlighted community collaboration in promoting environmental sustainability and protecting Jordan’s natural heritage, Qurashi noted.
