
Jordan Daily – As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to promote environmental awareness and sustainability, GIA Apparels Industry carried out an environmental initiative in Aqaba Governorate, distributing recycling bins to several local schools and delivering an educational lecture on waste segregation and environmental protection.
The company’s CSR team also visited the Aqaba Directorate of Education to explore opportunities for future collaboration on joint environmental projects aimed at nurturing environmentally conscious generations.

“We strive through these initiatives to strengthen practical environmental awareness and turn the concept of sustainability into a daily habit among students and our community,” said Raya Abu Dalbouh of the CSR team at Classic Fashion, the parent company of GIA Apparels Industry.
Dr. Abdel Wahab Al-Hajjaj , Director of Education in Aqaba, expressed gratitude to the company, saying: “Our sincere thanks and appreciation to GIA for your continued support of our schools and student projects. Your efforts have had a clear positive impact on both the school and student environment.”

Dr. Anas Al-Smadi, Head of the Private Education Department at the Directorate, thanked GIA’s ongoing support for schools and student initiatives, adding these contributions make a tangible to the overall school environment.
