Jordan Daily – The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Amman facilitated the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between PT. Mitra Aviasi Perkasa (Perkasa Flight School), represented by its CEO Mr. Septo Adjie Sudiro, and Jordan Airline Training & Simulation (JATS), represented by General Manager Captain Zaid Kalbouneh, on 10 November 2025 in Amman, Jordan.
This strategic partnership serve as an important milestone in enhancing bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Jordan in the aviation sector, particularly in pilot training and aviation market development. Through this agreement, both parties commit to developing an integrated pilot training program that spans from ab Initio training to airline placement, while also strengthening collaboration in curriculum alignment, quality assurance, and student recruitment, the Embassy said in a statement received by Jordan Daily.

Under the implementation framework, JATS will recommend prospective cadets from its partner airlines and regional network to undergo pilot training at Perkasa Flight School in Indonesia. In return, Perkasa Flight School will facilitate Indonesian graduates and pilots to pursue advanced or recurrent training programs at JATS facilities in Jordan. The MoU reaffirms both institutions’ shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in the aviation sector, especially in enhancing human resource competencies and developing the pilot training market across the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

H.E. Ade Padmo Sarwono, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Jordan, welcomed the partnership as “a concrete step that embodies the spirit of mutual growth, technological exchange, and professional excellence in the aviation industry.” He emphasized that the collaboration reflects the deepening Indonesia–Jordan relations, which continue to expand from trade and investment into strategic and high-skill sectors such as aviation.
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Amman continues to support such initiatives that foster people-to-people connectivity, skill development, and cross-regional collaboration in advancing shared prosperity between both nations, the statement noted.
