Jordan Daily – Jordan’s airspace remains safe and aviation operations are within normal levels, the head of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, Haitham Misto, said on Saturday. Approximately 400 aircraft crossed Jordanian airspace, departed, and landed at its airports on Friday, he added.
Misto emphasized that Jordanian airspace is secure and aviation activities are proceeding as usual. “Around 400 aircraft traversed Jordanian airspace, departed, and landed on Friday,” he noted.
He also mentioned the availability of alternative flight routes for Jordan, following recommendations from the European Commission and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency for airlines to avoid Lebanese and Israeli airspace due to intensified airstrikes and deteriorating security conditions.
