Jordan Daily – Syria’s Defence Ministry said two to three Katyusha rockets struck residential areas in Damascus’ Al Mazzeh district on Friday, wounding several civilians and causing material damage.
The rockets were fired from the outskirts of the capital, the ministry said, adding that it launched an investigation with the Interior Ministry to track the launch site and those responsible.
State news agency SANA cited a military source saying the attack was carried out using a mobile launcher, with the perpetrators still unknown. A woman sustained moderate injuries and was taken to hospital, according to the Health Ministry.
