Lacrima Dairy wraps up Gulfood participation, eyes global growth

Jordan Daily – Food processor Lacrima Dairy said it concluded its participation at the Gulfood exhibition with a series of high-level meetings and new business opportunities, underscoring growing international confidence in the company’s brand.

Founded in 2007 and registered in Sofia, Lacrima operates Bulgaria’s largest tomato-processing facility, a state-of-the-art plant in Pazardzhik with a daily raw material capacity of 700 tonnes. The factory is equipped with advanced Italian-made technology from Catelli Food Technology and produces tomato paste for global markets.

The company holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, operates under the HACCP system, and is HALAL-certified, enabling trade across the Arab world.

Lacrima has also expanded abroad through Balkan Industrial Co, a Bulgarian-Jordanian joint venture operating a factory in the Zarqa Free Zone.
