Low-cost flights to Jordan halve in number – report

Jordan Daily – The first quarter report of 2024 for the Executive Program for Economic Modernisation Vision revealed a 50% decrease in the number of passengers arriving in Jordan via low-cost and regular flights compared to the same period in 2023.
According to the report, the number of arrivals via low-cost and regular flights was 74,400 passengers, on board 625 aircraft.
The number of international visitors decreased by 10% during the first quarter of the year compared to the same period last year, reaching 1.33 million visitors. Meanwhile, international visitors spent up to last February 782.6 million Jordanian dinars, a decrease of 4% compared to the same period last year.
Sales of the unified ticket “Jordan Pass” decreased during the first quarter of 2024 by 65% compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 35,000 tickets.
