Nedal Malo Al-Aein eyes top role at Jordan Tourism Board

Jordan Daily –  Nedal Malo Al-Aein, a tourism strategist known for his vision to modernize Jordan’s tourism sector, is reportedly preparing to compete for the position of Director General at the Jordan Tourism Board.

Malo Al-Aein has promoted plans to diversify Jordan’s tourism product and markets, integrate emerging technologies, digital currencies, and assets, and boost sector competitiveness. He has emphasized including local communities in the tourism development process and aligning initiatives with national economic and tourism objectives, often citing royal visions as a guide for his proposals

His initiatives reportedly aim to expand Jordan’s tourism markets into Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Americas, alongside traditional European markets. He also seeks to link tourism with sports, including investing in the qualification of the  National Football Team for the World Cup finals.

The Jordan Tourism Board announced that Abdulrazzaq Arabiat’s tenure as Director General ended on Oct. 31, 2025, and said it would open competition for the position at a later date.
