Jordan Daily – Government Communications Minister and official spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani emphasized Jordan’s clear and consistent stance of not becoming a battleground for any party, asserting that protecting Jordan and its citizens is the government’s primary responsibility.
In an interview with Al-Mamlaka TV last night, following recent regional developments, Al-Momani stated that parts of missiles had fallen in various areas of the kingdom. He noted that there were no critical injuries, with three minor injuries reported.
Al-Momani highlighted that material damages occurred due to the incident, and damage assessment operations are currently underway. He explained that updates on the incident were promptly released by the Jordanian Armed Forces, the Ministry of Interior, the Public Security Directorate, and the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission.
The minister praised the Jordanian public’s high level of awareness in handling such crises, stressing the importance of caution and adherence to instructions from the relevant authorities to ensure public safety. He underscored the need to avoid spreading rumors or news from unknown sources, urging everyone to obtain information from official channels.
Al-Momani called for enhancing national awareness amid the challenging regional circumstances, emphasizing the importance of rallying around state institutions and providing support during these critical times.
