QAIA welcomes Libyan Wings, commencing biweekly direct flights to Tripoli

Jordan Daily – Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed the inaugural flight of Libyan Wings on 26 February, launching biweekly direct flights between Amman and Tripoli’s Mitiga International Airport.
Flights will operate every Sunday and Wednesday, enhancing Jordan’s connectivity and providing passengers with more non-stop travel options.
The inaugural flight was greeted with a water arch salute and attended by representatives from Libyan Wings, Airport International Group, Jordan Tourism Board, Royal Jordanian, and Travilios Travel & Tourism.
“We are delighted to welcome Libyan Wings, further strengthening air connectivity between Jordan and Libya,” said Airport International Group CEO Nicolas Deviller, highlighting the benefits of expanded travel options and economic ties between the two countries.
Travilios Travel & Tourism General Manager, Rami Musallam, praised the route launch, calling it a key step in Libyan Wings’ network expansion and expressing gratitude for the support from all partners involved.
