Qasti opens at Le Gray Beirut, marking culinary homecoming

Jordan Daily – Le Gray Beirut has opened Qasti, a contemporary Lebanese restaurant led by Michelin-starred chef Alan Geaam, marking the brand’s first return from Paris to Lebanon.
Founded in Paris, Qasti is known for its modern interpretation of Lebanese cuisine, blending traditional flavors with refined techniques. The Beirut opening reconnects the concept with its cultural roots while introducing a new dining venue in the city center, Le Gray Beirut said in a press release received by Jordan Daily.
Located inside Le Gray Beirut, the restaurant features a redesigned space by architect Galal Mahmoud, combining elegance with a lively atmosphere. The menu highlights classic mezze, seasonal dishes and recipes inspired by Geaam’s personal memories and culinary journey.
“Coming back to Lebanon has always been a dream,” Geaam said, describing the opening as a return to the cuisine that shaped his childhood.

Le Gray Beirut General Manager Charles Akl said the opening reflects confidence in Beirut’s cultural and culinary revival and strengthens the hotel’s overall food and beverage vision.
Lebanese-born and Paris-based, Geaam has built an international reputation over more than two decades, earning a Michelin star in France. His return to Beirut is both personal and symbolic, positioning Qasti as a destination for locals, visitors and hotel guests alike.
The restaurant also offers craft cocktails, curated music and live culinary experiences, blending gastronomy with energy and atmosphere.
