Jordan Daily – The Rotary Club of Amman Philadelphia organized its annual iftar for over 130 orphans on Saturday at the All Jordan Youth Commission (AJYC) in Irbid. The event, held in cooperation with Classic Fashion, the largest apparel manufacturer in Jordan, featured games and activities for the children, who were also presented with gifts at the end of the day.

Club President Yazeed Al-Abdallat said the event underscores the club’s commitment to supporting children and the broader community, which he described as a key pillar of the Rotary Club of Amman Philadelphia.

Laith Al-Barghouthi, head of the club’s Public Image Committee, expressed gratitude to the AJYC’s management and volunteers for their ongoing efforts in supporting local communities across Jordan.

Raya Abu Dalbouh, representing Classic Fashion, said it was Classic Fashion’s privilege to partner with AJYC and Rotary to host an Iftar this Ramadan, with a special focus on the children. Their smiles reminded us of the real joy in giving and the hope we can create together. This moment wouldn’t have been possible without the vision and support of our Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Sanal Kumar, whose leadership always pushes us to create meaningful experiences that go beyond business.

Abduraheem Al-Zawahrah, Director of the AJYC, emphasized the role of the iftar in promoting social cohesion and local collaboration. “The joy on the children’s faces and the engagement of volunteers and donors today highlight the importance of such initiatives,” he said.

The AJYC, which has been active since 2007, focuses on empowering Jordanian youth aged 15 to 35. This year’s iftar brought together around 50 to 60 volunteers and families, who joined the orphans from the Irbid governorate for the communal banquet, Al-Zawahrah noted.
