Jordan Daily – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held extensive talks Thursday on a range of issues, including Israeli actions in Gaza and Lebanon, the escalating violence in the occupied West Bank, and Israeli violations.
The ministers discussed efforts to find a political solution to the Syrian crisis, addressing its political, security, and humanitarian impacts.
Safadi and Lavrov also emphasized the strong bilateral ties between Jordan and Russia and explored potential areas for further cooperation.
The meeting took place during the high-level week of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
