Jordan Daily – The Director General of Development Zones, Arwa Al-Hiyari, announced that the number of visitors to the Ajloun Telefric exceeded 4,000 on the day of the Hijri New Year holiday. This marked a significant turnout, described as “unprecedented” since Eid al-Adha, as people flocked to experience and explore the cable car attraction in the Kingdom.
Earlier, Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh had declared a holiday on Wednesday, July 19th, in observance of the Hijri New Year.
The Ajloun cable car officially opened its doors to visitors on June 16, 2023, and has since become a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
