Ajman Bank completes core banking system upgrade

Jordan Daily – Ajman Bank said it has completed a planned upgrade of its core banking system, strengthening operational resilience, platform stability and long-term digital capabilities.

The upgrade followed a structured implementation plan aimed at improving system performance, security and scalability, and forms part of the bank’s broader technology roadmap to support efficiency, service continuity and future-ready infrastructure,the Bank said in a statement received by Jordan Daily.

Chief Executive Officer Mustafa Al Khalfawi said core banking upgrades were critical to maintaining secure and resilient banking infrastructure, adding that the initiative would support the delivery of reliable, Shariah-compliant services as the bank continues to scale.

During the upgrade period, Ajman Bank said it maintained a controlled operating environment, supported by contingency planning and close coordination between business and technology teams to minimise customer impact.

Chief Operating Officer Salem Al Shamsi said the project was delivered through disciplined planning and effective governance, reflecting the bank’s ability to manage complex change while maintaining service continuity.

The upgraded platform is expected to enhance processing efficiency, strengthen system resilience and support future digital initiatives, in line with regulatory requirements and the bank’s risk management framework, the statement noted.
