Jordan Daily -  A Jordanian ministerial delegation met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy James Danly to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and explore investment opportunities in the energy sector, Jordan’s ambassador to Washington Dina Kawar said.

“Reaffirming the strong partnership between the Government of Jordan and the United States, the ministerial delegation met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy James Danly to discuss strategic cooperation and investment opportunities in the energy sector,” Kawar said in a post on social media platform X.

She added that discussions included “gas exploration, mining, critical minerals, and energy connectivity within the economic corridor.”

The delegation included Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Muhannad Shehadeh.
