Jordan Daily - GCG Enterprise Solutions, part of Ghobash Group, has appointed Simon Howells as General Manager, the company said on Tuesday, as it pushes deeper into digital services.
The move comes as the firm, long known for managed print services, seeks to expand into enterprise information management, digital transformation and smart solutions across the United Arab Emirates.
Howells, who has more than 20 years of experience across the Middle East, Africa and Europe, is expected to lead efforts to grow the company’s digital portfolio, including workflow automation, application modernisation and enterprise digitisation.
Prior to joining, he held senior roles at Xerox in the Middle East and Africa and at OSN, where he focused on revenue growth and digital capability building.
“We are pleased to welcome Simon to lead GCG Enterprise Solutions’ growth and expansion,” said Rashid Ghobash, Managing Director of Ghobash Group, citing his track record in business transformation.
Howells said the company aims to position itself as a regional digital partner capable of delivering end-to-end solutions.
Founded in 1982, GCG Enterprise Solutions operates across the UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia with more than 200 specialists.
