Jordan Daily - Newton Insurance said shareholders representing 80.205% of its capital attended the company’s 30th annual general assembly meeting, where they approved the 2025 financial and administrative reports.
The insurer reported net profit of JOD 653,403 for 2025, while gross written premiums rose 20% to nearly 16 million dinars. Claims expenses fell 5.3%, reflecting improved underwriting performance.
Chairman Faris Gammoh said in a statement seen by Jordan Daily, the company would continue enhancing services and strengthening its position in Jordan’s insurance market.
Newton Insurance also reported strong first-quarter 2026 results, with written premiums doubling year-on-year and net profit after tax rising to about JOD 202,000 from 77,000 dinars a year earlier.
