Jordan Daily - Hikma Pharmaceuticals discussed ways to deepen cooperation with China in the pharmaceutical sector during a visit by the Chinese ambassador to the company's regional headquarters in Amman, the company's Executive Vice Chairman Mazen Darwazeh said.
Guo Wei, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Jordan, visited Hikma's MENA headquarters, where the two sides discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Jordanian and Chinese pharmaceutical companies, Darwazeh said in a post seen by Jordan Daily.
The discussions built on Hikma's existing partnerships with Chinese pharmaceutical companies and covered potential cooperation in advanced manufacturing technologies, equipment and research and development, he said.
"These discussions reflect our continued commitment to expanding access to essential, high-quality medicines and bringing important treatments to more patients across MENA, North America, and Europe," Darwazeh said.
