Jordan Daily - Jordanian Duty Free Shops opened a new 230-square-metre outlet at Aqaba Cruise Terminal, expanding its presence at a key gateway for international visitors to the kingdom.
The new duty-free store offers a range of products and services for cruise passengers arriving and departing through the terminal, the company said.
The opening comes as Aqaba seeks to benefit from growing cruise tourism and strengthen services for international visitors.
Aqaba Cruise Terminal was developed through a strategic partnership between Aqaba Development Corporation and Abu Dhabi Ports Group, which is responsible for developing, managing and operating the facility.
Jordan Duty Free said the new outlet expands its network and gives the company access to a broader segment of international travellers.
The company said it plans to continue developing new locations and shopping experiences at major entry and exit points, supporting tourism and enhancing services for visitors to Jordan.
