Jordan Daily – The Cabinet has appointed engineer Adnan Khalaf Al-Sawair as chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority.
The decision was taken during a cabinet session chaired by Prime Minister Jafar Hassan, following the completion of the term of Fares Braizat as head of the authority.
The Cabinet also renewed the appointments of Shaker Al-Adwan, Fatima Al-Hilalat, Yazan Al-Mahadin and Mohammad Al-Habarneh as members of the Board of Commissioners.
The Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority oversees the development and management of the Petra region, Jordan’s flagship tourism destination.
