Jordan Daily – The High Representative of the European Union (EU) for foreign affairs and security policy, Josep Borrell, accused the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, of “taking a completely pro-Israel position”.
“The geopolitical cost of Von der Leyen’s trip to Israel , where she took a completely pro-Israel position and represented no one but herself in international politics, was quite high for Europe,” Borrell said in an interview with a Spanish newspaper El País”.
The high representative of the EU criticized the current political position of the EU due to the Russian-Ukrainian war and the Israeli attacks on Gaza, and said that “a hurricane is approaching the West because of its policies”.
