Jordan Daily – Dr. Bassam Al-Omoush, a former Islamist leader and prominent political figure, warned Jordan’s Muslim Brotherhood against endorsing actions that could threaten the country’s stability, following their political arm’s support for the recent Dead Sea attack.
In a post on Facebook, Al-Amoush, who has served as a parliamentarian, minister, and ambassador, urged the Brotherhood to avoid being swayed by emotion, cautioning that the security of Jordan must remain a priority.
While expressing solidarity with Gaza and opposition to Israeli policies, he stressed, “The situation is more complicated than we think.”
