Jordan Daily – The Jordanian Armed Forces on Thursday deployed aircraft to assist in battling wildfires sweeping parts of Cyprus amid soaring temperatures, in response to royal directives.
The Jordanian military sent two Black Hawk helicopters and two Air Tractor aircraft, along with specialized crews from the Royal Air Force, to support firefighting efforts across the country.
The operation reflects Jordan’s ongoing humanitarian role and its commitment to aiding friendly and allied countries during natural disasters, the military said. The support underscores the Kingdom’s dedication to providing relief and assistance wherever needed.
