Jordan Daily – In a much-needed boost for the economy, approximately 350,000 expatriates have come to Jordan during the last three months to enjoy their summer vacations , bringing life back to markets that were previously stagnated.
The restaurants and sweets sectors, which experienced a period of contraction and declining sales, are now showing signs of recovery this season, as reported by Roya TV.
The real estate market, in particular, has witnessed a significant increase of about 15% due to the return of expatriates, revitalizing the property sector.
Since the start of the year, Jordan has welcomed nearly 700,000 expatriates , with half of this number arriving during the second quarter.
