
Jordan Daily – Malaysian Universities Alumni of Jordan (MUAJ) held its first General Assembly for 2026 in Amman on Thursday. The meeting brought together members of the general and administrative boards, along with officially delegated representatives.
Dr. Alauldin Bani Khalaf, a board member, chaired the session and presented the agenda, which included approval of the administrative and financial reports. Both reports were unanimously endorsed. The association also unveiled its 2026 action plan, featuring scientific, cultural, and social programs aimed at strengthening its local and regional role.

The assembly discussed scheduling elections for the new administrative board for the 2026–2030 term and considered proposals, including launching a peer-reviewed international scientific journal to boost the association’s academic presence.
In his address, President Dr. Mohammed M. Abu Shquier highlighted the association’s achievements since its inception and acknowledged the support of the Malaysian Embassy in Amman, led by Ambassador Dato Mohammad Nasri bin Abdul Rahman, and Education Malaysia- Jordan represented by Dr. Zeyad Al- Azzam.

Dr. Azzam presented a detailed financial report, reviewing revenues, expenditures, and governance mechanisms, while Vice President Dr. Mohammed Al- Zyoud emphasized institutional strengthening and collaboration with Jordanian authorities to update records and enhance operational effectiveness.
The meeting concluded with remarks from participating members, who reaffirmed their support for the association’s initiatives.
