
Jordan Daily – Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Imad Hijazeen, received on Monday a delegation of leaders from the World Evangelical Alliance to discuss ways to cooperate and coordinate in promoting Christian pilgrimage to Jordan.
The delegation included the General Secretary of the World Evangelical Alliance, Rev. Botrus Mansour; the Ambassador of World Baptist alliance for the Middle East, Rev. Nabeeh Abbasi; and the President of Bethlehem Bible College, Rev. Jack Sara.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance Christian pilgrimage to the Kingdom, particularly in light of the third millennium of the Baptism of Jesus Christ in 2030. Minister Hijazeen emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to supporting religious tourism and providing the necessary resources for its success within a comprehensive vision for developing the tourism sector.

For his part, Rev. Botrus Mansour expressed his pleasure at the exchange of ideas and the prospect of joint work, noting future cooperation prospects that include large delegations of Evangelicals visiting the Kingdom and the establishment of projects and investments in the field of Christian pilgrimage.
Reverend Nabih Abbasi pointed to work on several projects, investments, and participation in conferences that Baptists intend to hold in Jordan.
