Jordan Daily – Speaker of the House of Representatives Mazen Al-Qadi met Dutch Ambassador Stella Kloth on Tuesday to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, particularly at the parliamentary level, the legislature said in a statement.
Qadi outlined Jordan’s ongoing political, economic and administrative modernisation efforts, initiated under the directives of King Abdullah, aimed at achieving sustainable development, broadening participation in decision-making and boosting the role of women and youth.
Ambassador Kloth said the Netherlands highly values Jordan’s regional role under King Abdullah’s leadership in promoting security and stability, as well as the country’s efforts in hosting refugees. She affirmed her country’s commitment to continuing support for Jordan through a range of development projects.
