Jordan Daily – Prime Minister Jafar Hassan received Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani at the Prime Ministry in Amman on Sunday.
The visit comes ahead of the fifth session of the Jordanian-Qatari Joint Higher Committee, co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Qatari counterpart, Al Thani.
The committee meetings reflect the strong and longstanding fraternal ties between Jordan and Qatar, as well as the shared commitment of both countries to expanding bilateral cooperation across a range of sectors, officials said.
Several memoranda of understanding and executive programmes are expected to be signed during the meetings, aimed at advancing the common interests of the two nations and their peoples.
