Jordan Daily – Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein welcomed the national football team at the airport on Monday after they finished second in the Asian Cup, their best ever result in the competition.
The prince congratulated the players and the coach, Moroccan Hussein Ammouta, for their performance in the tournament, which he said “brought joy to all Jordanians and showed that nothing is impossible in life.”
He also urged them to focus on the upcoming World Cup qualifiers and the Asian Cup finals for the under-23 age group.
The reception was attended by senior officials, including Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh, and families of the players.
