Unstable weather brings widespread rain across the Kingdom

Jordan Daily – The Kingdom experiences unstable, slightly cool weather on Tuesday, with partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers over western regions. Rain is locally heavy, posing flash-flood risks in valleys, low-lying areas, the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, and is accompanied by thunder and occasional hail.

Rain extends to more areas through the day before easing in the evening as conditions gradually stabilize. Moderate northwesterly winds occasionally raise dust.

The Meteorological Department warns of reduced visibility from morning fog over highlands and plains, flood risks in western regions, and dust-related visibility drops in the desert.

On Wednesday, weather is stable and slightly cool in the highlands and mild in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba, with light eastern winds. Temperatures edge higher on Thursday and again on Friday, bringing mild conditions, high clouds and at times brisk southeastern winds that may stir dust in desert areas.
